Hi,

I am in a dilema on what to do. My situation is as follows:

I have H1B stamped in my passport from Company A (valid till Oct. 2005). Now I have an offer from Company B and want to transfer my H1B to Company B. The twist here is I need to travel out of US on work related (to Company A).

Will it be a problem if I submit an application for H1B transfer and then travel (without a receipt of H1B transfer)? Will my transfer petetion be automatically be voided even though I have a valid stamp till October??

All help will be greatly appreciated,
thanks,

--------------- you can come back with valid visa stamp of A before visa expiry. your employer B can file H1 transfer after you come back with primum processing

------------ NO
Will my transfer petetion be automatically be voided
------ NO

even though I have a valid stamp till October??

Thank you ginnu, really appreciate your response to my query. So, just to summarize,

its alright to travel on Company A's unexpired visa stamp even though I have an application for H1B transfer pending with INS??
