For those who got the I140 approved (Concurrent filers) please let me know the following

1. Was your finger printing done before I140 approval

2. If your finger printing was done before the I140 approval please let me know how long it took for your I140 approval after finger printing date.

I know that finger printing does not affect the I140 approval, i am trying to find out the pattern how the I140 are getting approved.

So people who got the I140 approved post your experience.

Punteet_greencard: Have you completed your finger printing.

Thanks

Re: NSC I140 processing time

I have been trying to make some sense of this but have no clue. Neither do I think INS has.

Thanks guys !! I could see the times but my case still says the same old message.

On a different note I didnt see the 485's move at all. That means it might take us concurrent filers a longer time to get 485 processed which isnt good news at all. Maybe even 18 months ,

Need Help

Hello,

My AP was approved and sent to my lawyer on Dec 5th. The lawyer says that she has not received them. She also says that she has lost my I 485 receipts. I have booked my India tickets for Jan 5th thinking that I would get my AP on hand by then.

My lawyer does not even know that she lost my I 485 receipts.
What an irresponsible lawyer...

Can anybody help me in this. I do not have I 485 receipts and AP on hand.

AP is approved though.

Yep you are correct the I485 applications did not move. My attorney told me that INS is doing a system upgrade to adjucate the I485 applications with the new home land security bill hence thye cannot approve new cases till the system upgrade is complete. The upgrade is suppose to be completed very soon..... that is what they say but no offical time frame has been decalred by the INS to complete the system upgrade.

Also i think we will not get the I140 approval before the end of this year(in the next 2 weeks) so lets enjoy the holiday .....

SDD: i have updated tracker with you info. You will see the changes when i upload it tomorrow.

Re: Need Help

indiagirl:

You do not need Ap to go and come back if you have a valid H1.

Folks like JBm and others have come back to usa after visiting INDIA using their H1 and not the AP.

Hope this helps.

sdd!

Why did you prever CP over AOS? I am asking this because because I am trying to decide if I should use AOS or CP.

Thanks!.

Re: Re: I140 details - wisc_labor_cert

not sure which country you are from. But how long do you think it will take for Consular processing?. I am from India and I would be using Madras consulate if I go the CP route.

Hi Guys,

Finally my RFE has been replied and INS has posted it on its online verification web site. Please let me know your experiances in getting a decision on RFE cases after the receipt of the reply by INS.

Just to recap :
Concurrant filing of I-140, I-485, AP and EAD
Rd 9/27/02
Nd 10/17/02
RFE 10/31/02
REF reply RD 12/19/02

Thanks,

My attorney has asked me to go to the Local INS Office and get the AP before I leave for India.

He said that he would give a letter to INS and with my EAD, I may have to go to local INS to get AP.

Has anybody applied for AP in local INS Office? If so, what is the general procedure?

Thanks
