hi guys, just got some bad news today, now i cant sleep...
i got my first 1Year tn visa back on 2009 on Buffalo border, during this year i bought an apartment in US. second year, reapply for another TN at same place, got it again. everthing is smooth.
but the beginning of this Year, i went to apply at toronto airport got rejected because the document is poorly prepared. i then made a big mistake, i went straight to the buffalo border and needless to say, the office caught be port shopping. i went home and discussed with my boss, my company was in a difficult position,either closing down or get acquired. Soon,we engaged with a multi billion company and they wanted to buy us. so i decided just wait and let the new company take care of it for me. but the buyer backed off at last minute...which basically screwed us.
here is my plan:
i will schedule some phone interviews first.
i wil then fly back to bay area for second round interviews
assume i got offer, i will fly back to Toronto and reapply tn visa at airport again
here are my concerns:
1, when i fly back for interviews, should i tell them they are for interviews or should i tell them i will need to go back take care my personal belonging(which is also valid)
2. what address to use, if i put my own home address, and if they ask me, would they be suspicious knowing i own a home there ? I guess I could use my friend address as well.
3. I did get paid for jan,feb,march, is it illegal on my side ?( i mean i was not in Us after all)
