Company acquired by new owner

I just found out that the company I work for was bought out by a new corporation. The new owners said they plan on keeping everything the same including my role/ duties, compensation and benefits. They might not even change the name. I will be paid under the new owners business with a new EIN. Will I need to reapply for a new TN? From what I understand the TN is employer specific

Your TN remains valid. Corporate changes don't impact your TN because the new entity assumes all "rights and responsibilities". including your sponsorship. When it is renewal time, use updated information; until then you are fine.

Thank you! I will likely be getting two separate W2s at the end of this tax period. One with the old owner's corp, and the second with the new owner's corp. Does this change anything?

Also, if I end up traveling, should I bring a letter from the new corporation stating that it is the same company, just a different owner? Or ask the CBP to update if I cross the border?

CBP won't "update" it unless you present new petition, which is completely unnecessary. Mergers and Acquisitions happen all the time. You are not the first TNer to experience this. Your TN remains valid.
