class-action suit seeks completion of all N-400 cases by Sept 22

SO the 1800 number is pretty much of no use since the customer reps. provide only basic info. They refuse to transfer the calls to IO's.
Then they tell to take an infopass when all they have to do is just transfer the call to an IO which saves the trip for infopass. It might also save money because infopass uses up uscis resources too!

How much does it costs uscis to employ customer reps.? That doesn't seem to be good utilization of money from what I read here. how can I help you?, No, I cannot transfer the call to IO, Is there any other way I can help you?

Does repeating this every time like a robot - helps anyone at all? pretty frustrating, annoying and useless.
Now what are some of the good ways to get to talk to an IO on phone without taking time to go for an infopass?

geetha1,
does ur case status show up online? if it does not, i hear from folks hear that you can get to an IO.
If it does show up online, then some here can give you other tips.

I tried called and told the rep my status doesn't appear online, she asked for my receipt number and said "everything is fine" but refused to transfer to an IO >.< Hopeless......
