I applied for the removal of conditions in July 2003 and have been waiting since. In the meantime I applied for citizenship in August 2004, got finger printed in November 2004 and have been called for interview in July 2005. Does this mean that my condition is removed or was this sent in error? Anyone had a similar experience?

bb,
What center did you apply for I-751 removal. Vermont is doing in 6 months now.

Secondly I read on this forum somewhere that during the citizenship interview, they cleared people's I-751 also...

I'm also wondering what's going on with the I-751... I filled it on 2003 and still waiting for the appointment.

Does anyone knows why is it taking so long?... how much long do I have to wait? What can I do?

Hi BB,

I have a question. Does 2 years of Conditional PR count toward 3 years citizenship requirement? I married to USC in Aug 2004, got interview for Sept 2005. If i get CPR, i need to apply for removal of condition in like july-sep 2007. When i'll be able to apply for citizenship?..in 2008..or?

Any News ??

Citizenship Interview before I-751 approval

Does anyone have the same situation or this happened to you before? How did it go? Please share your information and help each other.

If an applicant's I-751 is still pending when the N-400 interview comes up, the I-751 will be adjudicated right before the N-400 is.
