citizenship time interval for applying

Hi my name is Chaudhry and I am permanent resident (green card) of United States since January 2002 so it’s been like 6 and half years. During the first 4 years I was visiting my home county with travel document because I was studying there and stayed there for more than a year in two trips, I finally completed my studies in March 2006 and residing here in states since then (31 months)

My question is am I eligible to apply for us citizenship or I have to wait another 2 years. Please do write back if you have any information coz I tried to contact USCIS and there representative don’t have clear cut information

I would say apply 4 years +1day after your last trip over 1 year. That would make you eligible to apply March 2010.
 
Here are the details of my trips
The first time came to us was December 2001 and stayed here till January 2002 (28 Days)
Second time February 2003 to march 2003(15 days)
Third time October 2003 to January 2004 (3 months)
And finally I came here in March 2006 (31 months)
And I am here since March 2006 so can you please tell me the time when I ll be able to apply for citizenship.

My reckoning is that you can apply in March 2010 ish.
4years + 1 day from March 2006 when you returned
