What are you doing in Canada? what is your home country? Are you legally in Canada? if you are going to go through consular processing I'd think it would be best for you to do it from your home country.
am In canada on a short visit all i want to know is :
1.do we have to turn in all papers to the consular here in Canada
2.is it possible to get a working status paper before my status in Canada expires if she files in a work status paper
3.How long will it take
4.if i return to my Home country,would i still have a good chance of getting the unconditional resident permit.
just a litle confused thats all,just need advise on the issue

Extremely unlikey, since you are merely visiting Canada. You will most likely have to deal with the US consulate or embassy in your home country.

For which country?

Weeks, or Months.
4.if i return to my Home country,would i still have a good chance of getting the unconditional resident permit.
Your chances would probably be better, sinc there's a good likelihood that the US consulate in Montreal will reject your application.
