Hi,
I have some questions about citizenship. Can somebody answer the questions,

1. I am planning to apply citizenship for myself as well as for my wife. Can I put both applications in the same envelope while posting to uscis?

2. My kids (ages 11 and 8) have GC. How will they get the citizenship. I read that the kids get citizenship automaticaly after parents get their citizenship.Is this correct?If so what is the form N600?

Just kidding - one BIG envelope, two SMALLER envelopes inside, two checks seems to be the prevailing method. You're right about the children. N-600 is straightforward and a good idea.
 
Your kids will become US citizen when you or their monther becomes a US citizen and your kids are in your legal and physical custody. N600 is a request to get the certificate of naturalization (similar to the one you will get after your oath).
 
doesnt the OP and/or his wife have to get naturalized first to file n600 for the minor children ? arnt their naturalization certificate copies or their US passport copies needed ?
 
Yeah, after you and your wife take your oath, you and your kids will be citizens. Then you can either just apply for their passports or get passports AND citizenship certificates.
