My elder mother 70 years old will have her citizenship naturalization interview next Friday.
I have a question will I’ll be able to go with her to her citizenship interview?
Can the immigration officer refuse to let me go with her to her interview session?
Thanks
From what I saw when I went for my interview, most people who tried to accompany their family members into the interview rooms were told to wait in the waiting area. However, the exceptions to this rule were for some of the older people who required translators (and who, presumably, were exempt from the English requirements of the interview). I think you will probably be OK if you explain the situation to the IO once your mother's name is called. Even the USCIS doesn't want to hassle 70 year old women...My elder mother 70 years old will have her citizenship naturalization interview next Friday.
