Interview date - 2/4/2009

My interview was at 2 PM. Paid $5 for parking.
Document shown - Green card, driver license, passport as mentioned on the notice. NO other doucments asked or shown.

Verified info. Told officer my traffic violation in Nov 2008. He wrote down the information.
Asked to read one sentece. Wrote "We have 100 senators".
Asked 6 questions. All answered correctly. Very straight forward. Can't remember all questions:
1. Current president's party
2. Ask for the 2 political parties
3. Mention one state next to Mexico
4. West coast is next to which ocean
Can't remember the other 2 questions

Then, I was congratulated "Recommended for approval".

Since I requested name change, I was told to wait for notice to take oat at court. It only held once per month.
 
If you also interviewed at Fairfax VA, I hope you can share your waiting period for Oath.
 
Sorry for been dump but i got to ask u where did u get the answers , i could answer only the first one .. lol
 
Q about interview at Fairfax VA

I have my interview on March 17 at Fairfax, VA ...Is there any chance I can take my oath the same day ? Approximately how long do you have to wait... Also I am a full time student and hence what can I submit as my proof of residency (I have my lease agreement, and I have enrollment and verfication status from GWU) ?

Are you applying for name chagne? If not, I think your oath will take place on the same day.

I waited for about 30 minutes for my name to be called for interview.
 
Oaths being postponed due to construction at Fairfax

There are some concerns that because there is construction going on in the Fairfax building, oaths are being indefinitely postponed... verification please???

If we are not offered to take the oath on the same day, approximately how long do we have to wait before we receive the oath letter ?

I hve my interview on 3/18/09 and it looks like if your interview is early in the day then you might be taking the oath the same day.. Unless they still have construction then we have to wait about 4 weeks for the letter.. I just hope the construction is over.. Anyone here take their oath the same day as interview in fairfax recently???
