I got deported for overstaying in 2003, after that my fiance traveled a couple of times to my Country and We got married there in 2005. Right after the wedding we applied for the greencard and it was denied, but the American Consulate explained all the processes, what we should do. To make a long story short, we applied for two waivers 212 and 601 and after 6 months I got approved for my conditional resident card in 2006 and I moved to the US to be with my husband. In 2009 I got my permanent resident card for 10 years. From the time that I got my first resident card until now it has been 7 years. I am here with my husband and our 4 year old son. My question, Can I apply for the Citizenship? Should I apply for the 3 year or 5 year process? ( we do have joint accounts, insuarances, taxes... for the last 7 years). Please, I need advice and I appreciated any feedback.
 
It's been seven years since you became a permanent resident. I would file on the 5 year basis - less documentation needed on your part.
