Citizenship Case Filed 11/15; What Next ?

I applied for citizenship 10 days back by mail to Dallas office.
The checks were cashed by them on 11/22

What are the Next steps(is it 2 step process ...FP and interview) and typical time duration?

As per USCIS site, Dallas office is processing 3/28 cases.
What has been the response time from start to end for others?

How did I track it further? USCIS site asks for a Receipt number, which I have not received.
Can I track by Alien # or will USCIS send a Receipt letter.

select the drop down menu "USCIS District Office:"

pick your District Office

click the "go" button

you can now see other applicants in your District Office and the processing times on the various stages of your application.

You should also add your details so others can be helped by seeing the progress on your case.

Usually how long it takes to get the receipt notice. We sent the application to Texas by FedEx and it is delivered on 11/28. But haven't got the receipt yet.

Did you get your receipt yet? How long did it take to receive a notice of action?
I applied at Lewisville almost 2 weeks ago and haven't received anything. CC hasn't been charged either. A little troubled..
