Any one want to have this small tool to help you track case progress??

Hello every one:
  I wrote a small program which you can input from and to case numbers and will automatically send e-mail to Chicago DOL to check these cases. I thought it\'s kind of neat becasue you can check those cases numbers close to you and see what\'s the progress. It\'s attached here. If you like it give it a try. Just remember don\'t send toomany cases at one time or it will kill your e-mail box and remember you have to have MS OutLook to let it work. I did not try on Outlook Express.

What is NOF? please do let me know in detail.

Does any body have got issued?
Will there be any certification once it is issued?
 
How to get the Case number ????????????????????

My Lawer has given six digit case number for SESA MI and they told my case has been tranferred to Regional office on DEC 18th,2001. how to find the case number at regional office? In regional office it is 8 digit number. Pls help me.
 
I never test it with outlook express and don\'t know will it work or not

You just need to input the starting and ending range of case number and then click send then just sit tight and waiting for ton\'s of e-mail to come back to your mail box.
 
Finally some cases are certified..

Thankx for the info man..it seems finally its into November..Mine is November 14th..Hopefully I will be there in two weeks..
 
NOF

NOF stands for \'Notice Of Findings\' which is a communication from the DOL to the employer that there are deficiencies in the application and it is DOL\'s intent to deny certification unless they are corrected. DOL gives the employer some time to reply. Usual reasons are below average salary, inadequate recruiting, recent layoffs from the company etc., Hopefully, if the employer can answer the questions appropriately, the labor might still come through. Hope this helps.
 
DOL Tracking

See the previous thread for info on emailing DOL for your case number using your employer\'s tax ID or phone number. This should give you status report on all your company\'s cases. Then you can sort through and find your case based on date of transfer to DOL, salary and job description.

Is my Attorney right?

Hello all,

I had posted earlier that I had received an unexpected code and description from DOL. My attorney says that this is ok as it meets the minimum requirements. Where can I check what Application Engineer, Manufacturing is. I am a computer engr. and I am concerned that this description may not have anything to do with my profession and worse could have lesser chances of approval.

I will be extremely grateful for any information on the subject as it is causing me great concern.
 
my 2 cents

it could be a user entry error, you know, when they approve your labor, they will not change anything on the form.
 
On the INS web site....

.... there is a dictionary of Job Codes. It gives a detailed description of the job code. You can do a search on the keyword "Dictionary".
