My application was fedexed on 1/14 and received by USCIS by 1/15. My check has still not cashed. Do i need to be concerned ?

Set your "concern index" (0 not concerned --100 very concerned) based upon following formula

concern index=3*(today's date-15JAN2010 - 10)

Set negative results at zero. Your today's index should be zero now

Generally, how long do they take to cash check? It seems like everybody posting is suggesting 3-4 days.

British (cheque) vs. American (check). Considering this is for an American citizenship, the OP's spelling is correct.

During the interview when asked what Dec of Ind did, should British citizen answer "Declared/announced our independence form Great Britian"
or "Declared/announced American independence form our country?"
