Changing to higher level job on EAD?

Hi,
I am on EAD. My priority date is Sep 2002 (EB3). My original job title is Software design Engineer when LC was filed. I recently got a new job offer from another employer for the position of Manager- Software development. Is safe to change the job to higher level on EAD?

Are you proceeding with an employment based I-485? Have you switched to a family based petition for AOS? What is the category of EAD?

Would the job be considered amenable to AC21 portability if you are proceeding with employment based AOS and has the I-485 been pending long enough to port?
 
I got EAD based on my pending employment based I-485. I-485 is being pending for over 3 years now. I believe the new job would require AC21.

Double check with an immigration attorney, but I think it would be OK.
