Changing residence from MD to VA after 140/485/EAD/AP filing

Friends, I'd truly appreciate your guidance here..

My residence is currently in the state of Maryland and my employer has filed my 140/485/EAD/AP concurrently and I have received a notice date of May 20, 2004 for all of these applications.

- If I continue to work for the same employer in the same job, but move 20 miles away into the state of Virginia, and intimate BCIS via the methods suggested on this forum (AR-11 plus calling the phone number plus initmating the lawyers etc), will that be enough?

- By doing this, does it mean that my processing office for fingerprinting etc will not be Baltimore, MD but Arlington, VA since I will now live in VA ? Will it cause any confusion ?

- Can I change residence from MD to VA after I have received EAD/AP ?

- Will this action adversely affect any aspect pertaining to the processing ? Any guidance or suggestion will be deeply appreciated.. ? Any past experience/threads you can point me to ?

You need fax/call your service center and change the address for each application (i.e I485, I140, EAD, AP etc).

Yes, your FP location will change (it will change to the jurisdiction of your new address). I don't there won't be any confusion as long as you update them your new address for each application.

Your moving is upto you. Nobody is going to force or stop you, not even USCIS.

If you are in same service center area, there is no adverse effect. I guess you will be in same area - under VSC. I don't think there is any issue. Sometimes it causes delay when you move one service area to another - for example, VSC to CSC.

---- you cannot change the address on I-140 is is employer petition and once approved or any RFE it will go to company lawyer. He should change his home address on pending I-485
when move from MD to VA do the below:
1 file form AR11 for address change
2 update NCSC on 18003755283, your new address, provide them your ,WAC,EAC or LIN # of I-485 and reciept # of any pending petitions with service center, provide the receipt#, your name, DOB, A#( A# is on I-485 filing reciept)
3 write letter to service center for address change on your I-485( if you have spouse I-485 pending He/she also need to change address on her/his I-485) or any pending petition with them provide your past and NEW address, attach I-485 receipt copy, write your name, DOB, A# on cover letter. Send the letter to your service center with certified return receipt and out side the envelope write in big bold letters ATTENTION: ADDRESS CHANGE
*** do the all 1,2,3

----- that is correct

----- he is going to be under VSC , no problem

- Can I change residence from MD to VA after I have received EAD/AP ?
------ that will be better becase EAD will come to your home address as written on FORM 1765, if you move the EAD will be sent back to VSC by potal department, your AP will come to your lawyer who filed

- Will this action adversely affect any aspect pertaining to the processing ?
-----no
Any guidance or suggestion will be deeply appreciated.. ? Any past experience/threads you can point me to
