Changing name on your property.

I changed my name during naturalization.

When I called the county to get the new name updated on their records they said I need to get a new deed created to get the name changed. Everywhere else it was breeze.

Anybody had similar experience? if so please share.
What is the easiest way to get this done?

-------- it seems that you are from India and changed your name after US citizenship. You may have to give advt in 2 local newspapers in India and then may have to sign name chage deed/ affidavit before Magistrate. Talk to good lawyer in India and post the update.

You may not have to change, Try using aka - "also known as" in the documents
