Hello everyone, I think I have a problem. I recently moved to a new state and updated my address. I had my AOS interview in my old state about 3 months ago and I'm just waiting for the decision (family based-my parents are residents. I'm over 21). I thought that at this stage if I just updated my address they would jut send me the decision to my new address once they made it. Now, I got a letter saying that they will send my file to my new jurisdiction. What!? so, would I have to do everything again? this is ridiculous, I'm just waiting for my decision. What can I do now? I feel like crying

Thank you!

No, you won't have to do things over, it's just more work for THEM.

So, are the people in my new state going to give me another interview or just make their decision from the file they get? is that file going to have notes or a suggested decision from the previous interviewer from my old state?

thanks
