Changing last name only in my passport

Hi,

I have been married for 2 years and would like to take my husband's last name now. Can I change my last name only in my passport (that I have to renew soon) and not in the actual green card. Will not changing my name in the green card cause problems during international travel?

I haven't been able to find answer to my question and I appreciate any input from your personal experience.

------- if you change the last name on your passport then also change your name on Green Card , driving licence and SSN, bank acounts
