Changing employers during 7th year H1B , LC pending

Hi,

I am in my 7th year H1B expiring in June 2006. My LC (EB3) is pending in the Backlog Reduction center. It has a Priority Date of October 2002.

Question:
Can I change employers transfering my H1B and still be valid till June 2006?
Can I get a 8th year H1B extension from the new employer ?

Yes

1) Yes, you can change the employer now
2) Yes, you can get 8th year extension by sending some form of evidence (receipt notice from the local office or a letter from the BRC) that your LC has been pending for more than 365 days

Based on your old employer pending LC.
How sure that old employer don't withdraw their LC as soon as you leave from them.? If they withdraw the LC, your H1 further extension is gone.

What happens if before telling my old company that I intend to change job, I file for the H1-B extension thru the new company based on LC by the old company? Will this extension remain valid even when the old employer withdraws the pending LC? And can I keep on filing for the new extensions.
