My LC + I-140 Approved in 2007 and my 485 is filed on 9th May 2008. Am i still at risk if i change my employer?

If you change to another employer in the same or similar field with duties similar to what in the LC, the risk is minimal.

I-140 approved and I-485 pending more than 180 days makes you eligible for AC21 if you find job with new employer with same/similar job duties on your LC and the new employer is ready to give you permanent job offer letter with same/similar job duties to invoke AC21 with pending I-485. once join new employer send request to invoke AC21 to USCIS where your I-485 is pending.

* if you are still on H1 then join new employer with H1 transfer.
**also change your lawyerand if dont then any RFe will go to lawyer who filed I-485.
