changing employer after 270 days of I485 being pending

Hi folks:

My I140 was approved on May 5th 2006 ( receipt date of Feb 24th 2006). My I485 has been pending with INS for over 270 days (I140 and I485 were filed concurrently with receipt notice date of Feb 24th 2006).

Currenlty I am working with my employer who started the I140 and I485 process. Is it possible to change my employer who filed my 485 and I140? I have heard that employers might revoke the I140 petition. Is that true ?

Do I have to file any form for instance AC21?

---YES (I-485 is YOUR petition, I-140 is employer petition)

----------Yes they can but you will be protected by AC21

By 'same/similar job duties' you mean the column H-11 [Job Duties] of the labor certification or it has to be some column from the form I-140?

By the way I do not have a copy of the form I-140 but I do have a copy of my labor certification.

----------- job duties are on LC form ETA750A item 13( lawyer who filed your LC may have copy of ETA750A) and your approved LC has also that form
