Changing a job while EAD is pending?

Hi,

I have filed my EAD two weeks back in Nebraska and it is expiring on Jan 11, 2009. Nebraska is processing May 1 2008 right now so most likely 4 months to get approve.

At the same time, I am getting good offer from another employer. And, I would like to grab that -- so real question to all you ( great community ) are

a) Is it OKAY to change job while EAD is pending?
b) Is it possible to file H1-B through new company?. I am working on EAD and H1B's 6 years over two years back so no H1b at this moment at all.

Please advise.

a) Yes you can move any time to any employer with EAD (with or without pending renewal) if the EAD is the only concern
