Change of statust from TD to TN

Hello,

I am currently waiting to find out if my application for change of status from TD to TN will be approved. The application was received on May 27th and a receipt notice was issued on June 13, the last status update. I have been checking regularly and so far nothing has changed.

Is it normal for it to take longer than the 2 month average at Vermont for a change of status?
 
Average is just that. If nothing took longer than the xx days, it would be called the maximum. Given that reciept notices are usually sent out in a a week, it does look like things are a little slow for the summer.

Obviously, speed was not of the essence in your case, otherwise you would have gone to border, or paid for premium processing.
So, chill out and enjoy the heat (if that is possible) and last few days of freedom.:cool:

Speed isn't so much a factor as whether or not an approval will occur.

Premium processing was too costly and we were informed that we had to mail application in as it was a change in status. Only after the fact was it discovered that we could have gone to the border for a quicker response.

Back to relaxing in the heat and enjoying my extended vacation.

Guess you should have checked here first. I'm also guessing, it's cost you more than $1250 in lost wages.
