Hi,
I found this site is vey helpful for us who came to US on non-imegratant visa & they have lot of question in there mind & this site helps there by answering there questions. Thanks.
Similarly, I have question.
Currently I am on B1 & my H1B [first time] is approved. My employer has asked me for change of status. I send my I 94 to him [forced me] & he process the application for change of status without my signature. My current I 94 is expiring in 15 days. I wanted to go back to India & get it stamped there. but my employer have diff. view. So my questions are
1. Is it possible/ good to do change of status from B1 to H1B.
2. If yes then can i get my H1B stamped in US.
3. I heared that for stamping you need to go "origin of country" Is it true?
4. Again next time when I entered in US is there any problem will occur during entry time.
Please let me know asap as this becomes critical for me.
