Change of Final Address in USA (on DV lottery Visa Packet) After Issuing VISA Before Landing in USA

Dear All,

This forum is very helpful. I have successfully obtained my DV 2014 lottery visa few months back and now planning for USA. During the visa interview I have provided a address in USA as per requirement, now I don't want to go to that address but some other address in USA (different state). How can I change that address. Do I need to contact my home country USA embassy or I can change once I land inside USA? Do it make any difference if I land different place than mentioned on the DV package (envelope) I received after VISA interview?
 
No problem. You can enter wherever you want (I don't even remember my visa packet having a POE listed??? anyway we entered different from where we had said we would) and then tell the officer processing you that you want the change the address to where your green card will be sent.

so that mean we can change the address in POE?
 
You can inform the POE Office for the purpose of getting your Green Card delivered at the right place.

If the old address if of someone you trust - you don't even need to do that.

I went to a different address than the one I listed in the application form, and my friend just forwarded me the Green Card.

Again, not a big deal at all.
 
i have also 1 question.

when i filled DS 260 i wrote that i'm going to georgia atlanta to my godfather but now if i get my visa i'm want to go in new york to my friend its problem or not ?

Is this not more or less the same question question that's been answered above and all over some other threads?
