My last project was over on 3rd july 03 & visa was cancelled on the same day. I got a new offer with a start date of oct 1st 03. The new company is doing premium processing for H1B. They are filing during the 1st week of aug 03. Since I am currently out of status, the company lawyer is advising me to go back to India & do the visa stamping at chennai with the new company's H1B papers. My question is does the out of status for the last 2 months ( I am going back to India by aug end) affect my visa approval.
