change of address and sponsor

Hello everyone, firstly as this is my first post it is good to see that such a web page exists. I am on a CR-1 and I am about to file the I-175. My sponsor is my father in-law. My wife and I are moving so I will be sending in the AR-11 form for myself. However, do I need to send one in for my father in-law? (I know its the i-865 or something like that!) He isn't moving, he is at the same place he has been at for the past 20 years and he isn't going anywhere. I am of the understanding that the I-865 is only when he moves, my sponsor as he isn't he doesn't have to do a thing?

What is CR-1 and do you mean I-751 form ? Are been sponsored by the spouse and I-864 affdavit of support co-signed by your Inlaw.

Your father-in-law does not need to send an I-865, but your wife does since she is moving.
