Has anyone had an experience of changing I-94 back to "Indefinite Asylum Granted"

I have a question, I returned from a third country an IO gave me a new I-94 valid for 1yr, I didn't surrender it but he filled it for me, I tried to explain him but he got angry, so I prefered be quiet.

What is better, to fill the I-102 application? Send it with copies of my I-94"s and nothing else? Or to make an appointment by infopass to talk with an official? Or both? I'm not sure what I have to do

Thaks... :)

PLEASSSSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its no big deal..Usually some IO's dont know that I-94 for asylees is indefenite and not the expiry of the RTD.

Do you have your original I-94? You can file an lost i-94 with BCIS or you could travel to another country and come back and get an I-94..

THANKS

YES, I HAVE MY ORIGINAL 1-94 , I DO NOT THINK TO TRAVEL SOON, WHAT YOU MEAN WHEN YOU SAY: I CAN FILE A LOST I-94 WITH BSCS, SORRY, IT WAS MY FIRST TRAVEL ABROAD AFTER MY "ASYLUM GRANTED"

What is The best thing that I can do TO FIX THIS PROBLEM IF I DON'T WANT TO TRAVEL ABROAD SOON?

Thanks!!! :)

There is no problem. You have original I-94 that says indefinite asylum right?

It doesn't matter what the IO gave you when you entered the country. Just save that and do not worry about it. Your asylum is indefinite..Nothing was changed in your file to make it 1 year etc..I-94 is just a process that USCIS follows..dont know why they dont get rid of it..

DO NOT WORRY! Just Relax and enjoy the nice weather(if you are in D.C)

There is no problem...the very First time I traveled with RTD the IO gave me a I94 with one year exp no reason. Every trip ever since I got the undefinite one. I didn't even notice exp date on the first one until I was coming back on the second trip...

samoel! If your RFE was Feb 04, why you still haven't received the GC yet?
Well I got it by the end of Feb and they ask for I-602 waiver to be filled since I entered the US with fake passport (long story my escape from my country) so my original lawyer that's filling the papers was in vacation
(Africa) after coming back had to get my case out of storage (one week) get all the info from the interview, write long letter with I602... so it took about three weeks to get RFE ready...

Just returned from a trip on Monday and I noticed that the IO erroneously stamped my I94 with a very strange date March 28th 2077, the last 4 times that I travelled abroad they had stamped a date which is 10 years from the day I landed. Landing day and the usual stuff (indefinitely allowed to stay and work authorized etc) was stamped on it
