chances of H1B if you are not employed

I am gonna get my HB1 from the embassy in my country. For tourist B1/B2 visa it is always better to be employed in your country while applying for the visa, i just wonna know if it is the case also with H1B visa? I mean if i am not currently employed, will that negatively affect my chances to get visa?

You cannot get an H1B without a US job offer. Most employers want people with verifiable experience. Many employers will not even hire unemployed US citizens so why would they hire an unemployed person residing in another country?

they already hired me and i have all the papers, and i am about to go to the US embassy in my country to get it stamped. i just wonna know if being unemployed at the time of interview in the embassy can adversly affect my chances, because my program begins in june, so if i a going to US to work then i cant work in my country at the same time, am i correct?

when you apply H1 Visa in your country with US consulate or US embassy H1 has no requirement that you must be working or Employer in your country. H1 Visa id for working in US and US employer must have job for you. FYI in India many H1 or H4 visa stamps are being rejected by US consulates and they give 221g or aslk lot of documents from US employer.

I do not understand the bolded.

Your current status in your home country is not an issue for stamping. The issue is the job, employer's ability to pay and your educational qualifications.

Please be sure that your employer has a history of proper payment to employees - especially if it is a consulting firm.
 
it is not a firm rather university based hospital where i will be having my training in the department of pathology, so the payment and educational qualifications issues are ok.

i am asking this question because while applying for B1/B2 visas it is always advisable to be employed in your country (strong ties etc), i wonna know if this is the case also with H1B visas?

When the consulate gives B1/B2 visa they look for your ties to your home country to make sure you will come back to your home country after visit to US. they check your immigration Intent and if you are employed in your home country, have home and children then it is strong indication that you have job in your country and will come back. B1 or B2 does not have" DUAL INTENT"
H1 visa, H4 Visa, P visa , O visa all have dual Intent(one Can adjust status in US or can immigrate to US) . you can search for the Dual Intent Visa.

Hello. I already have a college degree back in my country but without work experience. So I flew to USA few months after graduation. My mother is working so she has H1b visa and I used to have H4 visa which is a dependent visa. But I'm already 21 so my mom decided that I take an associate/bachelor's degree which means my student visa is currently being processed. Are there great chances that after my OPT, I can be hired and be sponsored H1B?
