I submit my I140 and I485 to Nebraska Center in Sept. 2003. I140 got approved under the category of extraordinary ability (Don't need employer support). Now I wll work and move to Texas this year. Do I need to request my I485 transfer to Texas Center.

The address on my I485 for my wife and me is my current employer who agrees to keep my address active all the time. When any notice of I485 arrives, he will infor me. So I don't need to file Change of Address.

Do I have to tell Nebraska Center that I moved and transfer my case to Texas. It looks like the case processing in Nebraska is faster than in Texas.

---- you got approved very fast what is your area of EB1 or extraordinary ability??

------ NO needs to request transfer; just update your new address
For example how to change address read below:
1 file form AR11 for address change
2 update NCSC on 18003755283, your new address, provide then your LIN# of I-485 or any pending petitions with NSC, provide the receipt#, your name, DOB, A#
3 write letter to NSC for address change on your I-485 or any pending petition with them provide your past and NEW address, attach I-485 receipt copy, write your name, DOB, A# on cover letter. Send the letter to NSC with certified return receipt and out side the envelope write in big bold letters ATTENTION: ADDRESS CHANGE

The address on my I485 for my wife and me is my current employer who agrees to keep my address active all the time. When any notice of I485 arrives, he will infor me. So I don't need to file Change of Address.
----- By law you and your wife has to file change of address with form AR11, I will inform NSC about address change so that if any notice or RFE is generated it comes directly to me or will hire new lawyer and will fill up new G28 so that all communication comes to him. Why you’re past employer will get any approval for YOUR I-485? it belongs to you not to your employer it will come to You or your lawyer

Do I have to tell Nebraska Center that I moved and transfer my case to Texas.
----- Just update the address no need to request file transfer because if they need interview then they will have your new address and will send the file to Local USCIS office that is near to your home address.
It looks like the case processing in Nebraska is faster than in Texas.
---- You are correct

Thanks, ginnu

My area is Biochemistry.

I used my office address as my home address when I filed my I-485 and my wife's I-485 because I know we will move soon. That is why my employer can get the notice from USCIS. Through this address, I got my receipt notice and approval notice. I don't have lawer. Should I still need to file the Address Change?

Maybe you are right. It doesn't hurt to file the Change of Address.

file address change through AR11 for you and your wife
update your service center with I-485 reciepts that address fon your and your wife I-485 or any pending petitions should be changed
also update NCSC with I-485 # of you and your wife, provide your names, DOB, A#
