case status online is showing as RFE sent(for a pending I-485 derivative application)

I am thankfull to everyone for providing their valuable answers to all my previous posts.
I am checking my case status online and its showing as below

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Request for Additional Evidence Sent

On April 9, 2009, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the requested information. This case will be in suspense until we receive the evidence or the opportunity to submit it expires. Once we receive the requested evidence or information and make a decision on the case, you will be notified by mail. If you move while this case is pending, call 1-800-375-5283 to update your address

Actually I am the derivative of my husband's EB3 based I-485.I have changed my address on the pending I-485 by filling AR-11 form and by calling to USCIS as I am not staying with my husband.

1.I am confused, how many days will it take to receive RFE notice through mail?
2.Will I receive RFE to my address or it goes directly to my husband's lawyer?
2.what should I do if I do not receive notice through mail for a long time?
3.what happens if I failed to provide some of the evidences specified in the notice?

Please clarify my doubts

------------------if lawyer filed I-485 he/she may get RFE. RFE may reach in 5-8 days
2.Will I receive RFE to my address or it goes directly to my husband's lawyer?
--------------------if filed directly then on your address if filed by lawyer then on lawyer address.
2.what should I do if I do not receive notice through mail for a long time?
-------------------call USCIS
3.what happens if I failed to provide some of the evidences specified in the notice?
-----------submit what is asked. if dont submit they can deny.
Please clarify my doubts

Thank you so much for the reply.According to my knowledge lawyer filed my I-485.so in my case if the lawyer receives notice is there anyway that I can call to USCIS and ask them to mail the notice to my address

if lawyer gets the RFE be in touch with lawyer office. IF USCIS has sent the RFE to Lawyer address then they are not going to send it to you if you call them now.

Thank you for the reply.I don't have any information regarding which lawyer filed my I-485 because my husband used to take care of all those but now we are not to gether so what should I do now.

you can ask your husband about lawyer.

if you revoked form G28 filed by lawyer by writing to USCIS and requested USCIS to send any future communication to your address then USCIS may send it to your address.(USCIS is not good for updating Address)

If you are not with your husband and your I-485 is derivative based on his I-140 and are Divorced and husband wrote to USCIS then your I-485 will be denied.

Thank you for the response.My I-485 is derivative based on his I-140.Although we haven't filed for divorce we are not in good terms.I have updated my address but I received the notification regarding the change of address only through email but not by mail.How can I revoke form G28 filed by lawyer.

--------------------by writing to USCIS where I-485 is pending (with certified return reciept) write on cover letter your name, A#,I-485 filing reciept# and your address, your DOB, signature, attach copy of I-485 filing reciept and make a request that any communication should be sent you directly on address XXXXXXXX. if you revoke the Form G28 filed by lawyer then only mail in future may come to you. keep the copy of each document that you send and out side of envelope write in big bold letters :Request to REVOKE form G28 filed by Lawyer with pending I-485

Thank you once again for your time and response.The only document I am having from USCIS is I-797C,Notice Of Action for case type I-485 showing A#,Application Number.If I can use the document to REVOKE form G28 filed by Lawyer I will go head and do that immediately so that I can get all the mails in future.Please suggest me if I can proceed with that document

you have the I-485 filing reciept that has reciept # on it and A# on it. that is enough to revoke the G28 filed by lawyer. you need to send Request cover letter and Copy of I-485 filing reciept. if still confused post here dummy request letter to revoke Form G28 and we will help you to correct it before you send.

I First Middle LastName with pending I-485 in ---- Service Center holding USCIS A#----------,Applcation#------------- wanted to revoke form G28 filed by lawyer for my pending I-485,APPLICATION TO RECEIVE PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS and I am requesting USCIS to send future communication to the below address

Full Address Of Mine

and on envelope I will write in big bold letters :Request to REVOKE form G28 filed by Lawyer with pending I-485

For now, you can still call USCIS and ask them to mail a copy of the RFE to your home address. I did it 2 weeks ago. I received the RFE in 2 days with a self addressed return
envelop to mail the necessary documents

use the address that is for sending I-485.

I have called to USCIS customer service yesterday and they told that I have to wait for 15days.If I didn't get RFE within 15days she told me to call USCIS again so that they will resend it
 
I haven't received my RFE till now and its been more than 10days USCIS have sent RFE.I have called to USCIS lot of times and they are saying that I have to wait 15days.I have already sent request letter to USCIS to revoke G28 filed by the lawyer.what are the options for me to get RFE.please help me out
 
It's not unheard of to take as much as 2 weeks or more, so please don't freak out. And remember to keep checking with the attorney.
