you can get mad at this woman but she overall has a very clear few on things although I don't agree with her on this....BUT she is not the only one and by complaining and making more drama about it which will not change the outcome...the few who started a facebook site petition, etc... are not helping the program and how American's will think about it.

Don't ruin it for the future for others who still need it. Just my 2 cents.

Don't agree with you.
If it is only for U.S resident, how come there is a DV lottery for foreigners?

Because US residents don't need DV lottery.

Do you have the concept?

So why are you filing a petition if the DOS has followed the same law you speak of?

Bentlebee I expect to see a lot more similar outcry about the DV Lottery in the days, weeks, months to come. This program has been going on since 1994 and relatively few Americans knew about it, I suspect knowing about it now will not be welcomed news to most.

DOS just executes law by its own will.
However we think DOS can do better than what it has done so far.

It's life and thing happens...If she has overcome the grief how come you guys are still crying about it...I am pretty sure you are young and can do a lot..just because you didn't win ("lose") the lottery doesn't means its the end of the world...there are several ways to come to united states... As a student, businessman or may be just as a tourist..I don;t think crying about the lottery will benefit anyone of you..

I'm just amazed how desperate people are to live in USA. I guess it goes to show USA is such a country people are so desperate to live in. Yet, we always read the media writing about anti-USA statement. Blaming US for Afghan war and such.

But yeah, it's not the end of the world if you don't move to USA. And again there's so many other ways to get to US anyway, lottery was just the most convenient way, and all about luck. You can't really count on it alone to get to US or maintain your status in USA.

I dont know why u guyz av to listen to this jealous people who dosent av anything better to do in with thier lives. Petitionning the US GOVENRMENT my foot. They are losers thats why. Do u ever find time to think that this guys are in US as illegal citizens, and so its like the only hope they av now is this lottery that was cancelled, thats why they are scared of another redraw. They might loose u know, and who knows, their days are counting in US.
