Though the LUD changed on both our cases yesterday, I received 2 emails (for my case) late last night that a card has been ordered. My wife's status hasn't changed. Is this normal to order card just for one applicant? Anyone else have the same experience?

Lud changed and even received email from USCIS saying that card was mailed.

Thanks

Card mailed

Got Stamped on Oct-15-2004 and card mailed email on Nov-11-2004. I went 2 days after EAC03125( Thanks.. wiith his input I went on last day before mandatory infopass.)

Derivatives no change in LUD after stamping..The reason I can understand is we went on different windows for stamping. The other window person might not have turned the papers to USCIS for cards..

Hi All,

We received our GREEN CARDS yesterday. Finally the journey is over. Now i have to struggle with NJ DMV to correct my name and renew my license. Let's see how this goes...
Anyway, once again, THANKS to all the forum members and Rajiv khanna.
my default web site always remains www.immigration.com

hi all....i changed my residence after filing i485 and sent AR-11 form ..but didn't called VSC for address change. i got my passport stamped on 9/30/04.(newark)..my courtesy copy came at the old address but since all mails are routed to new address ..i got the courtesy copy. i told Img. officer about the change of address and also wrote the new address on the approval letter while stamping. i also called NSC after 15 days of stamping to update the new address. finally my message changed on 11/3/04 as card ordered and 11/4/04 as card mailed. i haven't got the card yet as of 11/14/04. i'm confused if i'm going to get card on new address or will be sent back.

how many days it take for the mail to come...please someone share your opinion what to do...

OMGV...pls let me know when you get your card in mail...

Help on Confusion in Using InfoPass to Schedule Appointment

Hi All,

Sorry guys, I could not find corresponding forum for PP stamping in Nov, 2004, so I come here to post my question.

I am new to this forum and live within Washington DC regional office coverage area. My husband and my cases were just approved and ready to get our passports stamped.

Heard that we need to make an appointment at InfoPass in order to receive passport stamp, after giving our zip code, (i.e. within Washington DC office coverage area), I saw following choices:

*) You need an immigration form.
*) You need to replace your Alien Resident Card.
*) You need to file an application for yourself or someone else.
*) You have a question about your case.
*) You wish to speak to an immigration officer.
*) It has been more than 90 days since you filed an I-765 and you did not receive an Employment Authorization Card.

None of which seems intuitive to me and I did not see the "You have received an approval letter or Form 1-797C from the Service Center or local office instructing you to come into the office for alien identification card processing / passport stamp." choice once quoted before.

I just wonder if anyone here could let me know which other option I could choose to make an appointment or it does matter much. I called the National Service Center and was once advised to select "You wish to speak to an immigration officer" choice. However, when I selected it, I received a message saying "At this time, there are no information appointments available for the office in your area. Please try back again later."

Any suggestion please?

Secondly, does it imply that the physical green card cannot be ordered before approvee's passport gets stamped?

Many thanks.
