Application Type: I485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status

Current Status:

On March 5, 2005, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

My question is could they possibly have processed it on 03/05 a Saturday?
This is awkward.

I had the same feeling when I talked about my cousin. People were very suspicious, but I understand where they come from. Having to deal with the INS myself, I would always distrust any good news. God help us!

Sessanga, congratulations. I think you broke the record for the number of years an asylee would wait for the green card. Can you post your dates? It also seems that your visit back home did not negatively influence your status!

Yes like some if not most of us, it has been a long tidious journey that nobody should go through.

I`m confindent that my visit to my home country is and will not affect me at all. Thank you shamshon you have been one of my strength in this forum,you don`t beat around the bush you call a spade a spade.

I will update you as soon as my card arrives.

LUD 08/24/04 message in my portfolio did not change.
03/05/05 card ordered.

Sessanga! You mentioned that you traveled to your home country after receiving adjustment. Obviously before receiving actual plastic card. Did authorities give you trouble boarding at your home country (this i-94 frankly can be faked easily with that shady red stamp).

Furthermore I think if you would have traveled with plastic card, IO's at US port of entry might not have given you trouble. Just a guess.

Yes they gave me hard time on my way back,but was able to be cleared thereafter.

Thanks cider congrats too,I`ve been following the average time frame in other threads that i got a rough estimation for the actual card to be ordered.
