Hi there,

I am a Permanent Resident of Canada holder PR Card since past 2.5 yrs.

I got married to US Green Card holder in May 2004 , in canada - the court marriage.

After that I went to USA to my in laws as I already had 5 yrs multiple USA tourist visa. At this point we did not declare our marriage anywhere.

Now, in Dec 2004 my husband has been called for the Interview - citizenship.
Then we plan to show this marriage done in canada, so that he can sponsor me as a CITIZEN OF USA.

Is this correct way ?

Please advice.

He can't sponsor you as a citizen (nor can anyone). Once he becomes a citizen, have him file an I-130 for you to sponsor you for a Green Card. I would be very hesitant doing this less than 90 days after your last entry as a tourist.
