Canada Visa stamping.

Planning to go to canada as soon as possible for H1 to H1 stamping. Tomorrow planning to get the canadian visa from NY. Question is, should I get a visitor visa (my friends are in canada) or should I take a tourist visa. And in either cases what important documents I need to take to Canadian consulate.

Please help..

Generally tell the truth...

that you are going to get the multiple entry visa.
You need a recent paystub (or bank statement that shows some money you are going to spend in canada), Copy of H1 approval apart from the usual documents.
