my lawer txt me today saying that my USCIS receipt number : NBC XXXXXXXXX

Can i check my status with that ? and how long to get FP appoinment !

i tried to call my lawyer but couldnt get hold of him !! so any help will be appreciated !

Yes you can check the status online. Be sure to enter as it appears. NBC= National Benefit Center.

NBC*123456789 (notice the asterisk). Check other tracker threads where people update their timeline of progress and you will get an idea how long to get FP appointment.

From what I can see - it is within a month of filing.

Im sorry to bother you guys ,i checked the status on USCIS.gov , but it says not avalailbe at this time plus the number should be 10 digits and i got only 9 which is NBC:xxxxxxxxx,,,but the web site required 13 ...

you need to put in: NBC*+ the 9 digits that your lawyer gave you

for example: NBC*000649567
