So you are applying based on 3 years of marriage to a US citizen? Sending a copy of either the passport or certificate will work (bring the original to the interview). The marital status showing as divorced on the certificate doesn't matter, as long as the date on the certificate is before you began your marriage.
The N-565 asks for marital status. If your spouse specified "divorced" when applying for the replacement certificate, that could cause a problem if USCIS notices the discrepancy during your naturalization process.
