Sorry if this might sound like a question already answered in this forum. I had filed for Labor in RIR with my previous employer. Since then I have moved to a new company. If this Labor application comes through, can I use it to file for 140/485 with my new company ? If yes, then what kind of coordination might be required between my old and new company for this transfer of LC ?

Thank you for your time.

------- You cannot file I-140 and I-485 based on previous employer LC through New company, but if your past employer is cooperative he can file I-140 and I-485 concurrently for you as GC is for future job, only the past employer can save your GC process and if he agrees after some negotiations then he should not revoke your approved I-140. Request him and see what he says.
Or you have to start the new LC from your current employer

7th year extension

Can we use previous employer LC which is pending for more than 365 days/ or approved after 365 days to extend 7th year H1.

Re: 7th year extension

I read somewhere in the forum it self ,,, Yes ! you can use your previous employer LC.
Try to investigate more on this ..This is real tricky . But in general i heard that you can use this LC for your extension.

--- Yes, you can, you need the evidence that your LC was filed 365 days back or approved, you need copy of approval or the SESA letter that was send by SESA to your lawyer that has your name and PD of LC filling, your past employer may also have that SESA PD receipt
