Can PR with affadivat support leave states?

Hi, Can anyone please advise if a person in the states have already obtain Permanent Residence status with affadivat support but have not obtain the green card. Can he/ she leave the states to another country for travel or personal reasons? If yes, maximum for how long? if can't what are the procedure to do so? Any liability?
Please advise.
 
Unless you are leaving for an extended period of time, there are no restrictions. The affadavit of support has nothing to do with it.
