Can i work with approval notice of ead

Hi All,

Please share your thoughts

I applied for my first EAD in Dec 2007, I was issued one in Feb 14,2007 but only for 4 months as my DS 2019 was till Jul.
I applied for renewal again -
JUNE 6- THEY Received my application
SEPT 29- Additional evidence required (marriage certificate)
AUG 20- CARD was mailed out and approved

I havent received it so far as of 20th Sept.. I have a job offer and they want me to start on 22nd Sept..

1) Can I work with approval notice?
2) I have an appointment with infopass on Mon 22nd, will they help me
3) They want me to wait for 45 days till they find it, any way i could expedite it

All answers wil be appreciated

3) Call, call and call again. Sometimes you get lucky with an IO and they actually do something for their money.

1- Yes you can work. The issue here is the approval itself not the card. This if the employer convinced with that but from your side, no problem at all.
2- This will not help
3- Keep calling
