Can i work on my EAD even after i get H1?plzzzz help

Hi,
Please someone help me with this.
I ahve my EAD and i will be getting H1 approval soon. My EAD is valid till June 2008. Now when i get approval, my status changes to H1 automatically? Can i work on my EAD till i get my visa stamped? Or i have to work for my H1 sponsorer the minute i get H1?
Someone please do help me, i have no idea about all this.

Did you file H1 with change of status or not ?

When H1 was filed, all details were submitted regarding my L2 status. So i guess its change of status from L2 to H1.
So my EAD wont be valid after H1, does that mean H1 approval or after H1 stamping?

Neither of them if you filed change of status.
You can use EAD til H1 start date, and can not use it after H1 start date.
