My company filed for bankruptcy and hence I was laid off in Jan. I filed for a new H1B through a consulting company in Feb. I know that I can start working once i get my FEDEX receipt but my questions is IS IT MUST that I should start working or CAN I WAIT TILL I get my H1B visa approval before I start working.
The reason is because I am still waiting to get a project and hence not yet on payroll.
