Can i travel India when my H1 B Transfer approved.

Hi All,

I am not sure, whether I can travel abroad and return US without any issues, with my current VISA Status.

I am on H1-B working for Company Y transferred my H1-B from Company X four months ago.

Now My H1-B Transfer got approved.

My Original VISA issued by Company X is valid until May 31 '07 and also I-94.

I am planning to travel abroad by feb'07.

With this status, I am not sure whether i can travel abroad and return US without any issues?.

Please help me out.

Do i need to get new Stamping done before i enter US?
What all i need to carry, while to return US.

but what documentation is needed to show at Port of Entry (seeing that he will
still have his old VISA stamp of Company X..I'm facing a similar situation) ?

Also, what I94 do we need to surrender on departing the country? The I94 attached with the I797 appproved transfer petition or the I94 that was issued when entering the United states?
 
If you have a valid visa stamp for an old employer, you can use that for a re-entry. Keep your new I-797 handy.

While departing the U.S. you should surrender the new I-94 (part of th I-797 approval notice). This will generate your departure record - please read here for details.
