Can i travel back to India after applying for EAD?

Hi,

I have a valid L2 visa. I am currently in India and would be going to the US to apply for an EAD. My concern is:

1) Can I travel back to India after applying for EAD as it takes approx 3-4 months for processing?

2) Can I continue working with my current employer in India?

3) When I travel back to the US before the EAD comes, will the status change on I-94 create any issues?

A3: You are not undergoing a status change. Your status will remain L-2. That status allows you to procure an EAD.
