Can I still apply for citizenship?

Hi,

I'm 19 years old and my father applied for citizenship about four years and was denied. My question is, would it be a problem for me if I applied for citizenship?

Why was he denied? If it was only about his case and did not affect yoru PR status, then it has nothing to do with you.

In general you should be able to apply on your own and there should be no problem because your father's application was denied. Of course, digging further it all depends on the reason for denial. Let's say that the worst case would be if he was denied for fraud when obtaining the Green Card and if he lost his Green Card there could have gone yours too down the drain. Anyway, this is extreme, but as you are not mentioning the reason for denial it leaves the door completely open to speculation.

Again, in general there should be no consequence and you can apply for citizenship in your own with no problem derived from your father's application for naturalization denial.

Did they revoke his green card?

Did your mother become a US citizen?

It's only under my father, and his green card did not get revoked. I was curious because I'm at the age now where I can become a citizen but I thought it would be a problem because he got denied.

If he got denied because something he did after he got his GC with your GC as derivative, then it has nothing to do with your eligibility for citizenship. If this is
the case, then you should go ahead and apply.

If he was denied because he did something before he got the GC, then it would be a different story.

I agree. The reason behind the denial will matter.
