Hello all:
I am a H-4 holder. I heard that H-4 can re-enter US after trip to Canada less than one month, with valid I-94, and do not need US visa. Is it right? what is the meaning of valid I-94?

Thanks Very Much

I94 expiry date in the future means valid I94 (even if the primary has changed company or has an h1 extension and has a new H1)
All status holders with valid I94 can reenter US from canada/mexico within 30 days of departure from US, not just H4.

If the primary(h1 holder) has changed company or extended employment it is better to apply for H4 extension after coming back.
Dont forget to retain the I94 while going out of US.

also true for TCN ??

Jaxen,

is it also valid for me, a muslim TCN with no prior H1-B stamp in my passport.

i had heard some thing that the re-entry law in null and void.

please help me

I got a Doubt!!!!

If i have valid H1 expiring on Feb2004 and I have I94 on my passport which has the same validity (till 2004).

Then if I travel on H1 and Return to US with in 30 days, at POE will i be given a New I94 card or Same one in the passport is used again...

Thanks :)
