Can I live in US near Canadian Border and Travel to Canada for Work

I am a Canadian Citizen and just got my us immigrant visa and have following questions:-

Can I buy a home and live in Blaine, WA and travel everyday to work to Vancouver, BC, Canada (40-50 miles).


If I do that will it satisfy the LPR's US residency requirements, assuming that I will have my WA Driver's licence, WA Car registration and file for US taxes and have my domicile in US.

That's fine. I hope you have a good job, because you'll be subjecting yourself to Canadian taxes.

you might also look into getting commuter - GC which allows for border crossings

Commuter GC is for people who reside in Canada and commute to US for work.
Commuter GC does not satisfy residency requirements for citizenship.
